The Updated 2013 Regional Rankings - The NUC Southwest Top60

There are nine new players in the NUC Southwest Top60. Two players Rob Boyd, OL, Vian, OK, and Maurice Chandler, DB, Lawton, OK are from the Sooner State. The other seven are all from the great state of Texas. They are Baylen Brown, OL, O'Connor, TX; Matt Dimon, DL, Katy, TX; Daeshon Hall, DL, Lancaster, TX; Christian LaCouture, DL, A&M Consolidated, TX; Eldridge Massington, WR, West Mesquite, TX; Jordan Mastrogiovanni, LB, Dallas Jesuit; Ishmael Wilson, OL, Bishop Dunne, TX.

Texas leads the way with 53 players in the NUC Southwest Top 60. Oklahoma currently has six players in the new Southwest rankings while New Mexico remains at one member in this select group of football players. Below the Southwest Top60 are five NUC participants that are being given a special mention.

 
 
Calvin Allen, TE, La Cueva, NM Allen has been on varsity since freshman year.
Marcell Ateman, WR, Wylie East, TX He recorded 67 catches for 1,047 yards and ten scores.
J.T. Barrett, QB, Rider, TX Barrett passed for 1,605 yards and ran for 1,521 yards.
Caleb Benenoch*, OL, Seven Lakes, TX Benenoch was awarded OL MVP at SW Ultimate100.
Travon Blanchard*, LB, West Orange-Stark, TX He had tremendous performance at 2011 NUC Top Prospect Camp.
Rob Boyd#, OL, Vian, OK Boyd could play several positions along the offensive line.
Baylen Brown*#, OL, O'Connor, TX Brown led the Panthers to the second round of the playoffs last year.
Dylan Cantrell*, WR, Whitehouse, TX Cantrell snagged 78 passes for 1, 277 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Maurice Chandler#, DB, Lawton, OK Chandler recorded 84 tackles and seven picks.
Chevoski Collins*, WR, Livingston, TX He was named Second Team All-District quarterback 20-4A.
Antwuan Davis*, DB, Bastrop, TX Davis ran a 10.68 100 meter in 2011.
Deoundrei Davis, LB, Cy-Woods, TX Davis was named 17-5A Second Team All-District.
Raaquan Davis, LB, Rockwall-Heath, TX He recorded 111 tackles and eight PBU's.
Matt Dimon#, DL, Katy, TX He was named First Team All-District both sides of the ball.
Bryan Driskell*, RB, McKinney Boyd, TX Driskell ran for 2,073 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Keith Ford, RB, Cypress Ranch, TX Ford ran for 921 yards and 12 scores this past season.
Jeremiah Gaines*, TE, Red Oak, TX Gaines caught 34 passes for 767 yards and seven touchdowns.
Joseph Glenn, RB, Giddings, TX Glenn ran for over 1,500 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Isaiah Golden, DL, Elysian Fields, TX He was named First Team All-District 8-2A.
Laquvionte Gonzalez, ATH, Cedar Hill, TX Gonzalez ran for 919 yards and 11 scores.
Derrick Griffin, WR, Terry, TX Griffin caught 36 passes for 509 yards and 12 scores.
Daeshon Hall#, DL, Lancaster, TX Hall recorded 60 tackles and 11 sacks last season.
Kyle Hicks, RB, Martin, TX Hicks ran for 1,682 yards and 26 scores.
Kenny Hill, QB, Southlake Carroll, TX Hill threw for 3,006 yards and 25 touchdowns while also rushing for over 1,300 yards.
Damion Hobbs, QB, Cedar Hill, TX This athletic signal caller ran for 875 yards and 11 scores.
Deon Hollins, Jr.*, LB, Ft. Bend Marshall, TX He was named First Team All-District 23-5A.
Naashon Hughes, LB, Harker Heights, TX Hughes was named 12-5A First Team All-District.
Darius James, OL, Harker Heights, TX He was selected First Team All-State by the Texas Associated Press after grading out at 94%.
Jamel James, RB, Cinco Ranch, TX James ran for 1,011 yards and 16 scores.
Devante Kincade, QB, Skyline, TX Kincade passed for 3,270 yards and 37 touchdowns while rushing for 17 touchdowns.
Devin Lauderdale, WR, Bellaire, TX Lauderdale compiled 1,467 yards of offense and scored 20 touchdowns.
Christian LaCouture*#, DL, A&M Consolidated, TX This is a massive defensive end that could grow into a defensive tackle.
Justin Manning, DL, Kimball, TX Manning led his team to a (9-3) record this past season.
Eldridge Massington#,WR, West Mesquite, TX Massington caught 39 passes for 663 yards and six scores
Jordan Mastrogiovanni*#, LB, Dallas Jesuit, TX He currently has more than 20 DI offers.
Kameron Miles, DB, West Mesquite, TX He recorded 85 tackles and four picks on the season.
Mike Mitchell, LB, Prestonwood Christian, TX Mitchell recorded over 150 tackles last season.
Gary Moore, ATH, Clarksville, TX Moore Caught 27 passes for 581 yards and 11 scores while recording 76 tackles.
Jake Oliver, WR, Jesuit, TX Oliver snagged 96 passes for 1,431 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Kent Perkins*, OL, Lake Highlands, TX He was named First Team All-District 9-5A.
Jake Raulerson*, OL, Celina, TX Raulerson is already one of the most decorated linemen in NUC history.
A'Shawn Robinson, DL, Arlington Heights, TX Robinson has the size and potential to shoot up the rankings.
Devin Rolan*, LB, McAlester, OK He recorded 98 tackles and four sacks on the season.
Fred Ross, WR, Tyler, TX Ross caught 93 passes for 1,264 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season.
Ra'shaad Samples, WR, Skyline, TX Samples snagged 65 passes for 1,369 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Ricky Seals-Jones, ATH, Sealy, TX Jones ran for 950 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Brayden Scott*, QB, Sequoyah, OK Scott threw for 2,270 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Kohl Stewart, QB, St. Pius X, TX Stewart threw for 3,138 yards and 29 touchdowns.
Tyrone Swoopes, QB, Whitewright, TX Swoopes threw for 1,344 yards while rushing for 2,267 yards and 29 scores.
Stanvon Taylor, WR, East Central, OK Taylor is one of the fastest and quickest receivers in the Southwest.
Vincent Taylor, DL, James Madison, TX Taylor was named First Team 5A All-State.
Cody Thomas, QB, Heritage, TX Thomas threw for 3,057 yards and 32 touchdowns.
Ja'Braylin Thomas, OL, Weimar, TX This massive offensive lineman has the ideal wingspan for offensive tackle.
Brett Wade*, LB, Kennedale, TX Wade recorded 130 tackles and five sacks this past season.
D.J. Ward, DL, Lawton, OK Ward recorded 65 tackles and 11 sacks on the season.
Jacorey Warrick*, WR, Cypress Falls, TX Warrick caught 36 passes for 790 yards and 11 scores.
James White, RB, Pearland Dawson, TX White ran for 1,840 yards and 23 scores.
Paul Whitmill, LB, Bastrop, TX He had 95 tackles and seven TFL's as a sophomore.
Dontre Wilson, RB, DeSoto, TX Wilson led DeSoto with 20 touchdowns.
Ishmael Wilson#, OL, Bishop Dunne, TX Wilson is a versatile offensive lineman that could play several positions along the line.
NUC Special Mention
William Butler, ATH, Aransas Pass, TX Butler is a big back that could also project as a linebacker in college.
Alex Donaghe, LB, Artesia, NM Donaghe was named First Team 4A All-State.
Cre Moore, DB, Broken Arrow, OK Moore won DB MVP at Southwest Five-Star Showcase.
Christian Morgan, TE, Prestonwood Christian, TX Morgan caught 16 passes for 226 yards and one score.
Dalton Rodriguez, OL, Union, OK Rodriguez is making the change from DL to OL.
Kooper Ruminer, LB, Deer Creek, OK Ruminer was LB MVP at 2012 NUC Tulsa.
Maurice Smith, DB, Dulles, TX Smith was named First Team All-District.
