Indianapolis, IN 11th Grade NUC Schuman's Outstanding Performance List |
Jackson Day Penn HS, IN, OL, 6-3-1/2, 277, Overall MVP |
It is not every day that a lineman gets to stand atop the podium. Day ran a solid 5.4 40, 4.88 shuttle, and jumped 24.5-inches in the vertical. He was just straight up to athletic and dominated in the one-on-ones to go unnoticed. |
Braxton Berkshire Logansport HS, IN, LB, 6-0, 198, LB MVP |
Double "B" had a great day as a linebacker. He was physical at the point of attack and athletic. He ran a solid 4.81 40, 4.44 shuttle, and benched 185-pounds 25 times. |
Derrick Nicholas Robinson HS, IL, DL, 6-2-1/2, 230, DL MVP |
Nicholas was the best pass rusher of the day. He used good technique and was a smart player. He ran a solid 4.82 40, and a 4.56 shuttle. This guy has a chance to play football at the next level. |
Caleb Platz Elkhart Memorial HS, IN, WR, 6-0, 147, WR MVP |
Platz showed off some speed with a 4.6 40 and a 4.3 shuttle. He also had a 9-2 BJ and a 29.5-inch vertical. He also had the best hands of the day. |
Blake Schneider Penn HS, IN, QB, 6-0-1/2, 223, QB MVP |
I think Penn HS brought all of their signal callers to this event. Schneider has good size and a strong arm. He also proved to be very accurate with good spin on his passes. |
Kyle Coltrain Guerin catholic HS, IN, QB, 5-8, 176, Special Mention |
He may not have been the tallest signal caller but that did not stop him from performing at a high level. He had a solid day as a thrower and a leader on the field while being very coachable. |
Brandon Campbell Ostego HS, MI, LB, 5-10, 216, Strongest Man & Combine King |
Campbell put up some sick testing numbers. First he ran a 4.54 40 and jumped 31.5-inches in the vertical. But the number that caught everyone's attention was the 40 reps of 185-pounds. |
