NUC FBS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
How does one become the NUC FBS Player of the Week? First of all the player has to have attended at least one NUC sponsored event. Secondly the player has to help lead his team to victory over another FBS opponent. This week two individuals helped their school snap long losing streaks with their performance. Both players helped non-BCS schools beat BCS football teams.
Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Kenneth Dixon, RB, Louisiana Tech
Dixon carried the ball 17 times for 232 yards and six touchdowns in 70 to 28 win over Idaho. That is a 13.6 yards per carry average. In seven games this season Dixon has carried the ball 111 times for 767 yards and 16 touchdowns. He is averaging an amazing 6.9 yards per carry on the season.
Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Collin Klein, QB, Kansas State
Collin Klein is the front runner for the NUC FBS Player of the Year. He is also one of the leading candidates for the Heisman Trophy. Klein completed 19 of 21 passes for 323 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for four scores in 55 to 14 rout of West Virginia. In 7 games Klein has rushed for 551 yards and 14 scores while completing 98 of 139 passes for 1,397 yards and ten touchdowns versus two picks.
Defensive Player of the Week
Zach Orr, LB, North Texas
Orr was in on nine tackles and had a key interception in huge 30 to 23 upset win over Louisiana Lafayette. For the season he has recorded 33 solo tackles, 32 assisted tackles, two interceptions, and two PBU's. The junior from DeSoto, Texas is currently the third leading tackler in the Sun Belt Conference.

Jude Adjei-Barimah, DB, Bowling Green
This opportunistic defensive back made two picks in 24 to 0 win over UMass.
Joe Bergeron, RB, Texas
Bergeron carried the ball 19 times for 117 yards and five touchdowns in 56 to 50 win over Baylor.
Chuckie Keeton, QB, Utah State
Keeton continues to rip it up in the WAC this week completing 16 of 26 passes for 257 yards and two scores while also rushing for 81 yards and two scores in 41 to 7 win over new Mexico State.
Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia
Murray completed 30 of 38 passes for a career high 427 yards and four scores in 29 to 24 win over Kentucky.
Robert Woods, WR, USC
Woods caught eight passes for 132 yards and four scores in 50 to 6 win over Colorado.
