2012 NUC FCS POLL- Week 10
Two teams fell out of the latest NUC FCS Top25. Delaware dug itself a hole in the Colonial Athletic Association with a 31 to 26 loss to the Monarchs of Old Dominion. Poor Youngstown State once the toast of the season with a big win over FBS Pittsburgh has fallen on hard times. The Penguins fell 41 to 28 to the Jacks of South Dakota State.
Moving into the new NUC FCS Top25 are South Dakota State and Sacramento State. The Jackrabbits moved to (4-1) in the MVC with a big win over Youngstown State. The Hornets took down unbeaten Cal-Poly 35 to 29. They come into the polls at #22 and #24 respectively.
There will be some serious shakeup in the polls next week as we have four key matchups. First in the Big Sky #2 Montana State travels to Sacramento to take on the #24 Hornets. #9 Eastern Washington, who is reeling from a loss this past week host #19 Cal-Poly. In the Southern Conference #3 Georgia Southern host bitter rival #16 Appalachian State. The Missouri Conference sees the Sycamores at #14 playing #17 Illinois State.
We have Co-Players of the Week. NUC alum Jerick McKinnon guided Georgia Southern to a triple overtime win over Chattanooga. He finished the game with 141 yards rushing and three touchdowns while also throwing for 55 yards. Signal caller Garrett Safron completed 31 of 38 passes for 303 yards and no picks in huge 35 to 29 win over Cal-Poly.

4. Stony Brook (NY) Seawolves Head Coach: Chuck Priore Record: (8-1/4-0 Big South) Last Week: Miguel Maysonet did it again running for 212 yards and two scores in 56 to 17 win over Presbyterian.
