Dru Smith

Class of 2013

Co-QB MVP

Mesquite Horn, TX

6' - 180 lbs - QB

Dru is a true competitor, who has continue to develop extensively since last year when he was the 7 on 7 award winner at TP Elite as a frosh. Dru throw a great short and intermediate rout ball and is great at anticipated them in their breaks and delivering the ball on time. He displays fantastic leadership with his team and teammates and has a unique ability to communicate well and get the most of his competition. Dru has a decent drop but must continue to work the speed of his drop. This will be critical to making him a D-1 QB. Although a little undersized his mental capacity and decision making is second to none. He makes quick decisions and gets the ball out of his hand. He understands and read defenses very well. He is a unique player and belongs at a BCS school
