The Final NUC West Rankings are out for the class of
2012. The biggest change is going from a Top55 to a Top60 in the Regional
Rankings. Each new addition is denoted by an asterisk. Five players fell out of
the previous rankings and ten new players have been added. Eight states are
represented in the NUC West Region. California leads the way with 36 players in
the Top60. They are followed by Washington (6), Colorado (5), and Utah (4).
The NUC West Top60 currently has 46 student athletes
verbally committed to colleges. This means 23% of the players have still not
made a decision on where they will attend school. Cal has gone wild in
recruiting and now leads the region with eight commitments. They are followed
by Oregon and USC each having seven commitments in the West Regional Rankings.
Utah and Notre Dame are next with four commits apiece.
