The final NUC Southwest Rankings are out. The biggest
change is going from a Top55 to a Top60 in the regional rankings. Each new
addition is denoted by an asterisk. Four players fell out of the previous
rankings and nine new players have been added. Four states are represented in
the NUC Southwest region. Texas leads the way with 48 players in the Top60.
They are followed by Arizona (7), Oklahoma (4), and New Mexico (1).
The NUC Southwest Top60 currently has 54 student athletes
verbally committed to colleges. This means only 10% of the players have still
not made a decision on where they will attend school. Currently Texas has a
huge regional lead with 12 commitments. The Longhorns are followed by TCU and
Texas Tech with seven commitments each. Texas A&M is next with six
commitments in the Southwest Top60.
