Pre-Camp Circuit Rankings

NUC National Director of Player Analysis, Barry Every, has compiled a pre-camp season Southwest Region Top40. Below are those players that have already excelled on the gridiron and have proven worthy of national attention form colleges all over the country. Of the initial Top40 there are nine former NUC participants.  This list will be updated three more times before national signing day on February 6, 2013. The NUC Southwest Region will gradually expand to a Top40. The first update will happen after the NUC Five-Star Academies have been completed.

Marcell Ateman, WR, Wylie East, TX He recorded 67 catches for 1,047 yards and ten scores.
J.T. Barrett, QB, Rider, TX  Barrett passed for 1,605 yards and ran for 1,521 yards.
Travon Blanchard*, LB, West Orange-Stark, TX He had a tremendous performance at 2011 NUC Top Prospect Camp.
Dylan Cantrell*, WR, Whitehouse, TX Cantrell snagged 87 passes for 1, 414 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Chevoski Collins*, WR, Livingston, TX He was named Second Team All-District quarterback 20-4A.
Antwuan Davis*, DB, Bastrop, TX Davis ran a 10.68 100 meter in 2011.
Raaquan Davis, LB, Rockwall-Heath He recorded 111tackles and eight PBU's.
Bryan Driskell*, RB, McKinney Boyd, TX Driskell ran for 2,073 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Keith Ford, RB, Cypress Ranch, TX Ford ran for 921 yards and 12 scores this past season.
Jeremiah Gaines, TE, Red Oak, TX                                    Gaines caught 34 passes for 767 yards and seven touchdowns.
Joseph Glenn, RB, Giddings, TX Glenn ran for over 1,500 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Isaiah Golden, DL, Elysian Fields, TX He was named First Team All-District 8-2A.
Laquvionte Gonzalez, ATH, Cedar Hill, TX Gonzalez ran for 919 yards and 11 scores.
Derrick Griffin, WR, Terry, TX Griffin caught 36 passes for 509 yards and 12 scores.
Kenny Hill, QB, Southlake Carroll, TX Hill threw for 3,006 yards and 25 touchdowns while also rushing for over 1,300 yards.
Damion Hobbs, QB, Cedar Hill, TX This athletic signal caller ran for 875 yards and 11 scores.
Deon Hollins, Jr.*, LB, Ft. Bend Marshall, TX He was named First Team All-District 23-5A.
Darius James, OL, Harker Heights, TX He was selected First Team All-State by the Texas Associated Press after grading out at 94%.
Jamel James, RB, Cinco Ranch, TX James ran for 1,011 yards and 16 scores.
Devante Kincade, QB, Skyline, TX Kincade passed for 3,270 yards and 37 touchdowns while rushing for 17 touchdowns.
Justin Manning, DL, Kimball, TX Manning led his team to a (9-3) record this past season.
Kameron Miles, DB, West Mesquite, TX He recorded 85 tackles and four picks on the season.
Jake Oliver, WR, Jesuit, TX Oliver snagged 96 passes for 1,431 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Kent Perkins, OL, Lake Highlands, TX He was named First Team All-District 9-5A.
Jake Raulerson*, OL, Celina, TX Raulerson is already one of the most decorated linemen in NUC history.
A'Shawn Robinson, DL, Arlington Heights, TX Robinson has the size and potential to shoot up the rankings.
Devin Rolan*, LB, McAlester, OK He recorded 98 tackles and four sacks on the season.
Fred Ross, WR, Tyler, TX Ross caught 93 passes for 1,264 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season.
Ra'shaad Samples, WR, Skyline, TX Samples snagged 65 passes for 1,369 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Ricky Seals-Jones, ATH, Sealy, TX Jones ran for 950 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Brayden Scott, QB, Sequoyah, OK Scott threw for 2,270 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Kohl Stewart, QB, St. Pius X, TX Stewart threw for 3,138 yards and 29 touchdowns.
Tyrone Swoopes, QB, Whitewright, TX Swoopes threw for 1,344 yards while rushing for 2,267 yards and 29 scores.
Ja'Braylin Thomas, OL, Weimar, TX This massive offensive lineman has the ideal wingspan for offensive tackle.
Brett Wade, LB, Kennedale, TX Wade recorded 130 tackles and five sacks this past season.
D.J. Ward, DL, Lawton, OK Ward recorded 65 tackles and 11 sacks on the season.
Jacorey Warrick*, WR, Cypress Falls, TX Warrick caught 36 passes for 790 yards and 11 scores.
James White, RB, Pearland Dawson, TX White ran for 1,840 yards and 23 scores.
Paul Whitmill, LB, Bastrop, TX He had 95 tackles and seven TFL's as a sophomore.
Dontre Wilson, RB, DeSoto, TX Wilson led DeSoto with 20 touchdowns.
