Eagle's View Academy's (FL) Quarterback DJ Gillins is ranked the number 16 recruit in the country for the class of 2014 and a four star recruit according to 247 sports. Gillins led his Eagle's View Academy to a 9-3 record and a berth in Florida's state playoffs. Gillins threw for 2,667 yards and 31 touchdowns with only 7 interceptions last season. At 6-3 and 185 pounds, Gillins has the ideal size for a Quarterback. Gillins is more than a pocket passer; with his speed, he has the ability to make spectacular plays outside the pocket. With his speed and passing ability it is no wonder why college coaches are flocking to Eagle View Academy. |

DJ: Yes sir, Vandy will offer this week. Mainly South Carolina, but there are a few others NUC: Do you have any favorites right now? DJ: No sir, not yet NUC: Which coach or coaches have you made a good connection with? DJ: I can't really say because I have good connections with pretty much all of them. NUC: Do you have any camps or visits lined up for the summer? DJ: I know I'm attending Florida State June 13 and South Carolina. All the other ones, I don't really know yet. NUC: Are there any combine events in your plans? DJ: No sir, I probably not going to any combines until next off-season |
