Tyler Horton Edison HS, CA, WR, 5-9-1/2, 153, Overall MVP Horton dominated the receiver drills, and then embarrassed most of the defensive backs he faced during the one-on-ones. He definitely has some hops already as he posted a 28.5-inch vertical. But it was his route running and his ability to attack the ball at its highest point that won him the highest camp award. |
Tanner Hodgdon Vista Ridge HS, CO, DL, 5-10, 248, DL MVP & Strongest Man Hodgdon had a great day! First of all he benched 155-pounds 28 times which is amazing for a freshman. He also dominated the one-on-ones by firing off low and using his hands to keep defenders off his body. He was just too strong for the offensive lineman in this camp. |

John Rincon Wigwam Creek HS, AZ, LB, 5-9, 170, LB MVP Rincon has a great build and is very athletic for his age. He ran a solid 4.89 40, 4.34 shuttle, and had a 8-1 BJ. Rincon was physical at the point of attack and looked good dropping into coverage. This guy was a real hustler tracking plays sideline to sideline. |
Wesley Ogobury Denver West HS, CO, DB, 5-10, 153, DB MVP Ogobury already has very good height for a corner back. He also has hips on a swivel after running a 4.25 shuttle. Ogobury is also strong having hoisted 135-pounds 15 times. He looked nice and smooth in his backpedal and had excellent ball skills. |
Jake Grant Horizon HS, AZ, OL, 6-3, 268, OL MVP & Leadership Grant already has tremendous size for a young offensive lineman. He did a nice job of staying squared up on defenders during the one-on-ones. But what really caught the coach's attention was his positive attitude and spirit on the football field. |
Brandon O'Donnell Mountain Vista HS, CO, WR, 5-10, 158, Combine King O'Donnell proved to be the best overall tester of the day. He ran a solid 4.76 40, 4.3 shuttle, and had an amazing 33.5-inch vertical. He also posted a 9-1 BJ and benched 135-pounds 16 times. Those are some crazy testing numbers for this young athlete from Colorado. |
Orion Ewell Cathedral HS, CA, WR, 5-11-1/2, 166, WR MVP Ewell did a great job of representing the host high school. He ran a solid 4.77 40, 4.41 shuttle, and had a 27.5-inch vertical. His route running was superb and he demonstrated excellent body control when attacking the ball with his hands. He has a bright future! |
Dylan Arnaiz Paloma Valley HS, CA, WR/S, Dodie Donnell Award Winner The Dodie Donnell Award goes to the athlete that not only excels on the football field but shows versatility by playing more than one position. Arnaiz did a great job on both sides of the ball for his team during the 7-on-7 portion of the camp. |
Paul Farbacher St. Joseph HS, Saskatchewan, CAN, RB, 5-10, 183, Strongest Man Skill This solidly built back had a tremendous day. He ran a solid 4.78 40, 4.51 shuttle, and had a 33-inch vertical. Farbacher also had a 9-2 BJ but more amazingly he benched 135-pounds 29 times. He has the build and athleticism to make serious yards after contact. Just a great day for this Canadian athlete! |
Isaiah Strayhorn Eastlake HS, CA, RB, 5-6-1/2, 162, Fastest Man This all-purpose back had a stellar day. He posted a 34-inch vertical he and benched 135-pounds 14 times. But what set him apart from all the other competitors were his speedy 4.57 and 4.58 40 yard dashes. He was definitely a deep threat and dangerous after the catch. |
Deyon McKinney Crenshaw HS, CA, RB, 5-7, 150, RB MVP McKinney definitely knows what to do with the ball in his hands. He ran great routes and made lots of yards after the catch. He ran a solid 4.73 40 and had a 30-inch vertical. He runs with good balance and vision and made most linebackers look silly in this camp. |
Cody Summers Denver East HS, CO, QB, 6-1, 161, QB MVP Summers was just one of several kids from Colorado that dominated this camp. He already has good height for a young signal caller and a very strong arm. He did a nice job of getting depth in the pocket and then taking what the defense gave him to move the ball downfield. |
