25.      Mark Fossati, S, St. Joe's (Montvale), 5-10 185 pounds

Overview: Fossati is a versatile defensive back for the Green Knights. Fossati can play in the box and help support in stopping the run. He can play nickelback on the slot receiver and he can come off the edge and rush the passer. Fossati can also play free safety in a single high or two deep coverages. Fossati has great range and has great football speed. The Green Knight safety flies around the field. He displays great football speed and good football instincts. Fossati has knack for making big plays. He loves to make the big hit.  He makes a ton of impact plays and creates turnovers and tackle for losses. Fossati recorded 2.5 sacks at his safety position. He also forced a fumble and had three interceptions. Fossati created a ton of impact plays as a sophomore.

24.      KaShaun Barnes, QB/ATH, Matawan, 6-2 170 pounds

Overview: Barnes plays quarterback for his Matawan squad. Last season Barnes led his Matawan squad to a 9-3 record and a berth in the NJ state playoffs. Barnes threw for 728 yards and 8 touchdowns with only 3 interceptions. Barnes is a dual threat quarterback and he can make plays with his feet. On film, Barnes displayed good arm strength and the ability to throw the ball fifty yards in the air on the move. Barnes is better when the play breaks down and he can improvise with his speed. Barnes throws well when he is on the move. It is tough for teams to contain him. Barnes has the size, arm strength, and athleticism to be a spread quarterback at the next level. He will need to continue to develop his accuracy and mechanics. Barnes played some defensive back for his Matawan squad and has the athleticism to play the position at the next level.

23. Jeray Demby, S/RB, Woodbury, 6-2 175 pounds

Overview: Demby plays both ways for his Woodbury squad, however his position at the next level will most likely be at safety. Demby is a natural at the safety position. He flies around the field. Demby makes plays from sideline to sideline. Demby loves to help in stopping the run from his safety position. He is an excellent open field tackler. Demby relishes opportunities to make the big hit. Demby has great size for a safety and his football speed is fantastic.

22. Derek Allen, OT/DT, Edison, 6-6. 275

Overview: At 6-6 and 275 pounds, Allen already has the size to play at the next level. What makes him unique is his agility and his speed. On film, Allen showed the ability to chase down ball-carriers. Right now Allen is a very raw player with loads of potential. He makes plays on the football field with his size and natural athletic ability. Allen is a hustler and seems determined on the field. Allen had 66 total tackles last season for his Edison team, which is very impressive for a defensive tackle. On the offensive side, Allen has great feet and is a mauler in the run game. Allen has long arms, which allows him to keep the defensive end from getting into his chest.

21. Juwann Winfree, CB/WR, Dwight Morrow, 6-2 175 pounds

Overview: Winfree was the Overall MVP at the North Jersey NUC combine. Winfree ran a 4.59 and 4.48 shuttle. Winfree plays both WR and corner for his high school. Winfree excels at both. At receiver he makes difficult catches look easy and with his size he can jump over the defenders and make the catch. In his team 7-on-7 versus Paramus Catholic, Winfree shredded a secondary that has two legit division one talents. Corner is where Winfree has the most upside. With his size and speed, Winfree has the potential to be a superb corner. During the North Jersey Combine, Winfree dominated at the corner position. He was physical at the line in man coverage and has great closing speed to break up passes. In zone, Winfree has good hips and has great instincts. Winfree has great ball skills, either he will come down with the interception or knock the pass down.
