LONE STAR'S SHINE IN WEEK ZERO No state produces more Division I football players per year than Texas. The Lone Star State has produced 369 DI players this past year. And no company has more high school football players come through their camps than the National Underclassmen Combine. Over the last three seasons well over 3,000 high school players have gone through NUC camps held in Texas. Below are just some of the former NUC stars that shined during Week Zero. This week's NUC Lone Star Player of the Week belongs to Dru Smith of Sherman, TX. He threw for over 400 yards and six touchdowns in 57 to 56 win over Little Elm, TX. If any NUC alum from Texas that projects as a DI recruit wants to contact the NUC about their weekly stats and game result you can contact Barry Every on Twitter @NUCBarry. Good luck to every former NUC player from the Lone Star State in Week One! |
