NUC High School Rankings

Week 4

Only two teams dropped out of the NUC High School Top25. The Tornadoes of BT Washington, FL could not hold onto a lead versus Miami Central, FL falling 36 to 27. The New Jersey Kings of football had their 46-game winning streak snapped as Don Bosco fell 13 to 6 to Gilman, MD. Replacing them in the NUC Top25 are DeSoto, TX and Carmel, IN. The Eagles downed Oklahoma power Jenks 46 to 27 while Carmel moved to (4-0) with a 38 to 0 win over South Vigo, IN.

We have three major matchups that should gain national attention. In the Sunshine State Miami Central, FL has a chance for redemption as they travel to #3 Manatee, FL. New Jersey power Bergen Catholic makes the long trip to Las Vegas to take on #15 Bishop Gorman in the battle of parochial heavyweights.  Finally #2 Trinity, KY hosts St. Xavier, OH in another battle of infamous catholic high school.

The NUC Player of the Week goes to Ole Miss commit Mark Dodson, Jr. Dodson carried the ball 30 times for 385 yards and three scores in the Tigers 63 to 34 win over rival Ridgeway, TN. Whitehaven has now moved up to #16 in the latest NUC Top25.
