2012 NUC FCS POLL Week 7
There are four huge matchups that will definitely affect next week's rankings and the FCS Playoff picture. #11 Eastern Washington travels to Bozeman, MT to take on the #2 ranked Bobcats. The winner will have the upper hand in winning the Big Sky. #6 Youngstown State travels to #15 Illinois State. Both teams are reeling from losses this past week. The Winner will most likely be the runner-up in the MVC. The Southern Conference is about to take shape. #10 Wofford travels to Statesboro, GA to take on the #8 Eagles of Georgia Southern. #9 Appalachian State travels to Birmingham, AL to battle the #23 Bulldogs of Samford. The NUC FCS Player of the Week is Jamal Jackson of Appalachian State. Jackson completed 20 of 29 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns. He also carried the ball 17 times for 94 yards and a score in 35 to 23 win over Elon. Jackson has now thrown for 1,581 yards and 12 touchdowns versus five picks while also rushing for 363 yards and an additional four touchdowns.
