turnout and a number of
impressive performances.
Leading the charge was the
Overall MVP, sophomore defensive
end J. Forest West of Salisbury
High School in Connecticut.
West, 6-foot-1 and 223-pounds,
left no doubt that he was the
best participant in
New England.
He is a great athlete, very
strong, fast and has a great
future as a defensive end.
During the combine events, he
finished with 21 reps at

The deepest position at this
event was likely at quarterback,
where a number of players stood
out. Winning the QB MVP was
freshman Sean McQuillan,
6-foot-3 and 197-pounds, from
Glastonbury
High School
in
Connecticut. McQuillan was
excellent during passing drills
and has the potential to be a
top dual-threat quarterback
prospect, especially considering
he is only a freshman. He also
had a 4.57 shuttle, 4.98 40, 26
reps at 135-pounds, and an 81
½ broad.
