ORLANDO MORNING SESSION BRINGS A
REPEAT SUPERSTAR FROM TAMPA AND
AN OFFENSIVE LINEMAN THAT COULD
BE THE NEXT 5 STAR SUPERSTAR IN

The
National Underclassmen Combine
hit its third Florida city of
the season, with a very
successful stop in Orlando. Two
sessions were held and the
morning session was dominated by
sophomore RB Jeremy Wright of
East Ridge High School in
Florida. Wright had already won
the RB MVP at this seasons
Tampa event, and this time took
home the Overall MVP. Wright,
5-foot-9 and 184-pounds, was
awesome during 1-on-1s and had
a 34-inch vertical, 98 broad,
4.52 40, 4.35 shuttle, and did
25 reps at 150-pounds.

Wright winning the Overall MVP,
the RB MVP went to sophomore
Jamel Leonard of Interlachen
High School in Florida.
Leonard, 5-foot-11 and
245-pounds, was the most
explosive running back of the
day, did great during 1-on-1s,
and is gigantic. He also had 36
reps at 150-pounds, had a 4.67
40, 29-inch vertical, and 91 ½
broad.

Even
though Wright and Leonard stole
most of the attention at the
running back position, another
running back that deserve
mention is sophomore Christopher
Evans of All Parker High School
in Alabama. Evans, 5-foot-7 and
170-pounds, was great during
1-on-1s and has very impressive
hips. He had a 4.84 40, 4.61
shuttle, and 19 reps at
150-pounds.

Another running back who
deserves special mention is
sophomore Stephen Barnett of The
Bolles School in Florida.
Barnett, 6-foot-0 and
175-pounds, has great ball
skills and has impressive body
control. He had a 4.71 40, 4.51
shuttle, 30.5-inch vertical, and
22 reps at 150-pounds.

The
OL MVP went to sophomore Andre
Harris of Lovejoy High School in
Georgia. Harris, 6-foot-3 and
330-pounds, is arguably the best
offensive lineman of the entire
season thus far. Hes a great
leader and athlete, and had a
70 broad, 24.5-inch vertical,
5.37 shuttle, 5.74 40, and 25
reps at 185-pounds.

Also
excelling at the offensive line
position was sophomore Cole
Gilliam of Durant High School in
Florida. Gilliam, 6-foot-4 ½
and 340-pounds, had great feet
for a player of his size and did
very well during 1-on-1s. He
also had a 21-inch vertical,
611 broad, 5.87 40, 4.59
shuttle, and 22 reps at
185-pounds.

Sophomore Xavier Keller of
Forest Park High School in
Georgia was the winner of the WR
MVP. Keller, 5-foot-8 ½ and
150-pounds, has great hands and
runs impressive routes, which
made him a lethal threat during
the 1-on-1s. During the
combine events he had a 27-inch
vertical, 4.89 40, 4.60 shuttle,
and 85 broad.

Pushing Keller for the WR MVP
award was sophomore Winfred
Strickland of Cocoa High School
in Florida. Strickland,
5-foot-10 ½ and 164-pounds, had
several big play receptions
during the 1-on-1s and has
great athleticism. He had a
4.64 shuttle, 20 reps at
150-pounds, and a 83 ½ broad.

The
quarterback position was very
deep, and walking away with the
MVP was sophomore Clayton Moore
of Louisville High School in
Mississippi. Moore, 6-foot-0 ½
and 198-pounds, showcased a
great combination of passing
skills, touch, and leadership.

He had a 4.56 shuttle, 25-inch
vertical, and did 15 reps at
150-pounds. Sophomore Daniel
Reyes of Tarpon Springs High
School in Florida was also
impressive.

Reyes,
5-foot-10 and 185-pounds, had 20
reps at 150-pounds and displayed
great passing skills, touch, and
decision making. Two
dual-threat quarterbacks who
also deserve mention are
sophomore Brent Osborn of Valley
High School in Alabama and
freshman Barry Bostic of
Jefferson County High School in
Georgia. Osborn, 6-foot-4 and
197-pounds, has the potential to
develop into a big time D-1
prospect.

He is
a great athlete with both an
impressive arm and footwork. He
had 14 reps at 150-pounds, a
4.78 40, and 80 broad. Bostic,
5-foot-10 and 151-pounds, has a
great arm, and an impressive
delivery and speed for a
freshman. He had a 35-inch
vertical, 4.75 40, and 93 ½
broad.

The
LB MVP went to freshman Pedro
Jona of Bradford High School in
Florida. Jona, 5-foot-9 ½ and
176-pounds, showed tremendous
speed and quickness for a
linebacker. He had a 27-inch
vertical, 4.68 40, 77 broad,
and 19 reps at 135-pounds.

Another standout was Austin
Bryson, who at 6'0, 210 from
Boling Springs, SC, ran a 4.92
40 and 4.56 shuttle to going
along with his great athletic
skills.

Sophomore Chris Crenshaw of
Jefferson County High School in
Georgia was the winner of the DL
MVP. Crenshaw, 6-foot-2 and
205-pounds, was unstoppable
during 1-on-1s, as his speed
off the line consistently beat
every offensive lineman. He
also had a 30.5-inch vertical,
4.79 40, 4.57 shuttle, and 86
broad.

Deserving special
mention was also sophomore
Terrance Slocum of Bradford High
School in Florida. Slocum,
5-foot-10 and 240-pounds, was
great off of the line during
both positional drills and
1-on-1s, and he had a 23-inch
vertical, 5.66 40, 5.20 shuttle,
and had 13 reps at 185-pounds

Two
defensive backs shined, but the
MVP went to sophomore Darian
Sharpe of Buckhorn High School
in Alabama. Sharpe, 5-foot-8 ½
and 173-pounds, showed great
cover skills during the 1-on-1s
and had a 32.5-inch vertical,
4.69 40, 82 broad, and had 21
reps at 150-pounds.

Also
excelling as a defensive back
was freshman James Scales of
Northeast Guilford High School
in North Carolina. Scales,
5-foot-8 and 162-pounds,
showcased very impressive
bump-and-run skills for a
freshman and had a 27-inch
vertical, 4.71 shuttle, and 19
reps at 135-pounds.

The
Fastest Man Award went to
freshman Joshua Snead of South
Johnston High School in North
Carolina. Snead, 5-foot-8 and
163-pounds, ran a 4.50 40, and
was also fabulous during the
1-on-1s.
Finally, the Freshman MVP went
to QB Bo Wallace of Giles County
High School in Tennessee.
Wallace, 6-foot-1 ½ and
172-pounds, showed impressive
passing skills and was one of
the best pure passers of the
day. He also had 24 reps at
135-pounds, a 27-inch vertical,
4.81 shuttle, and 5.05 40.
